For our client, a renowned leading international company in the field of development and production of protective equipment, we are looking for an “IT Security Specialist (m/f)”.
The team in Ljubljana operates in a modern work environment that fosters collaboration, growth, and professional development.

Job Description:
-Monitoring and analyzing network security systems to detect and defend against threats early,
-experience with migrating to new security solutions and leading such projects,
-supporting the planning, implementation, and management of security solutions to protect IT infrastructure,
-knowledge of network design, firewall setup, and log file interpretation,
-conducting security analyses, risk assessments, and vulnerability evaluations,
-developing and implementing security policies, processes, and procedures,
-advising and training employees on IT security issues and best practices,
-analyzing security incidents, responding to them, and implementing appropriate incident management measures,
-collaborating with other teams to optimize security strategy and improve incident response times.

Requirements:
-At least a Level V education in computer science, IT, or a related field,
-strong knowledge of IT security, network security, and data protection,
-work experience with security solutions such as Microsoft 365, Azure AD Security, and Microsoft Defender Suite,
-familiarity with the Darktrace security solution,
-in-depth understanding of networks, firewalls, and endpoint protection (EDP),
-knowledge of products from Fortinet, UniFi, Watchguard, and Darktrace,
-analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and a structured approach to work,
-awareness of current cyber threats and measures to prevent them,
-proficient in written and spoken German and English (German is not mandatory).
