For our client, a leading global provider of logistics, maintenance, and management services, we are looking for a dynamic person to join the international team in the position "Procurement coordinator (m/f)". 

The company is also open for junior candidates who have no experience in procurement but are open to learning and acquiring new skills. As a procurement coordinator, you will supporting Ocean and Inland procurement.

Your responsibilities:
- Pro-actively sourcing the market.
- Tracking and obtaining costing from suppliers.
- Manage ad-hoc pricing requests from the business and accordingly source rates from suppliers in a timely fashion.
- Maintain accuracy in STCs cost databases.
- Follow freight market developments and proactively source based on market movements.
- Ensure contracts, terms, and other procurement related documents are uploaded and maintained.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting requests on procurement related matters.
- Analyze and solve procurement related invoice discrepancies.
- Assist on tenders and the follow-up of rate uploads and database management resulting from these sourcing events.
- Covering and supporting offices within the EMEA area. 
- Support the Procurement team on all procurement related matters.

Competencies: 
- University education in the relevant field (Economics, Logistics, Trade…) or over 5 years of experiences.
- International experience is an advantage, experience in procurement is not a requirement.
- Good understanding of geographics and sourcing traffic rates.
- Proactive person with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good spoken and written knowledge of the English language.
- Coachable person, who is open to learn.
- Team player.
